Every Oonee installation comes connected to Oonee OS, our management platform that helps agencies make data-driven mobility decisions. We verify each user that joins our platform, making it easy to both protect against theft and track active utilization and engagement.

Our Process
Delivering lasting infrastructure requires alignment between policy, design, and operations. Our process is built to guide cities through each phase — from early planning and permitting to full-scale implementation and maintenance.
1. Discovery and Planning
We begin every partnership by understanding your city’s mobility goals, existing infrastructure, and policy framework. Our team collaborates closely with local agencies to identify opportunities, align with ongoing initiatives, and ensure every installation supports broader transportation and sustainability objectives. Our conversations include:
Site selection analysis: Evaluating transit proximity, demand heatmaps, and equity overlays to guide placement through data analysis and site visits.
Regulatory alignment: Meeting with local planning, zoning, and permitting officials to streamline approvals and get buy-in from different stakeholders.
Concept design: Developing early design studies and mockups that reflect city branding, agency standards, and community context.
2. Design and Configuration
Our design, engineering, and operations teams work alongside city staff and local stakeholders to shape a system tailored to your community’s needs. Each installation is configured to balance design quality, functionality, and cost, ensuring it fits seamlessly within the city’s built environment and policy goals. 3. Procurement & Financing
Every city has its own procurement process — we adapt to fit yours. Oonee’s flexible model supports both pilot projects and long-term programs, helping agencies deploy secure bike infrastructure efficiently and within existing procurement frameworks. Our approach has been successfully implemented in cities such as Jersey City, Minneapolis, and New York City, demonstrating how public–private collaboration can accelerate network deployment.

4. Installation & Activation
After finalizing locations, our team manages the full deployment process to make installation fast, compliant, and low-impact. We coordinate closely with local agencies and utilities to minimize street disruption, ensure proper inspections, and complete testing and staff onboarding for seamless Oonee OS integration.
Once installations are complete, we support cities through the launch and activation phase by coordinating ribbon cuttings, community announcements, and promotional materials that help introduce the new network to the public.
5. Operations & Maintenance
Once installed, Oonee handles the full life cycle of each station — from daily monitoring and cleaning to long-term servicing and data reporting. Our team ensures every site remains safe, reliable, and visually consistent across the network when communicating to users.
Cities receive ongoing performance updates and have the option to integrate maintenance data into their existing asset management systems.
